後発の日本でも計画が練られた矢先、意図的にすら感じる大規模宇宙災害により正規宇宙軍の主だった能力を失う。
学生階級で最高成績を収めていた主人公のアスノ・アオイはアスノグループの戦略級AIを搭載した最新鋭戦艦であるムラクモで地球調査の命令を受ける。

Episode 1 depicts the story up until just before departing for Earth.In the 2770s, 100 years have passed since they moved to colonial planets, and the countries of immigrants sought the Earth for hints for genetic repair, but the entire investigation fleet continued to disappear.
Just as the late-run Japan is planning, the main capabilities of the regular space forces are lost due to a large-scale space disaster that even intentionally feels.
The protagonist Asano Aoi, who had the highest grade in the student class, receives orders for Earth investigation at Murakumo, a state-of-the-art battleship equipped with the Asano Group’s strategic-class AI.
